Patients diagnosed with severe tricuspid regurgitation (TR) are a heterogeneous population regarding disease state and mortality. The TRuE Score identifies parameters associated with long term mortality and can be used to stratify
patients presenting in different stages of severe functional TR.
The Tricuspid Regurgitation Registry (TRuE) consists of 914 patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation that were investigated for risk factors impacting long-term mortality.

Low risk - 6% predicted all-cause mortality
The predicted risk of all-cause mortality at 1 years was 6% in 914 patients (from the TRuE registry) with severe tricuspid regurgitation.
Low risk - 18% predicted all-cause mortality
The predicted risk of all-cause mortality at 5 years was 18% in 914 patients (from the TRuE registry) with severe tricuspid regurgitation.
